Research direction

Start by reviewing the Chrome extension packaging and release process, then compare the Chrome Web Store listing with the repository's current extension version. Confirm how version 4.6.129 was published and what access or maintainer coordination is required. Done means the Chrome Web Store extension is updated to the current release, or a supported download is provided.

Description

Is the feature relevant to the Firefox PDF Viewer?

Yes

Feature description

The version of the Chrome pdf.js extension in the Chrome Web Store has not been updated since 4.6.129, in October 2024. That is woefully behind. While I am able to build the extension for myself with the latest pdf.js, it might be good for the community if the extension were kept updated there, or offered here as a download. The current maintainer of the extension appears to be @Rob--W according to Github docs and their website.
