Research direction

The payload names no files or tests. Start by finding the existing preset feature and the Settings view in the Vue app, and check how the VATSIM data feed is already read. Done would need a decision on how presets link to positions (manual list, CC data, or name matching), which the issue leaves open. Ask the maintainer to settle that design before coding.

  • Connecting preset to a login callsign/position (loaded from CC, or manual list).
    • Handling of relief callsigns, identifying position from prim freq instead of logon callsign possible?
  • Auto loading preset if you are active on that position, using your CID and matching to VATSIM data feed
  • Maybe coupling a preset to one or more positions in Settings view.... or just matching names and loading preset if preset name == position...
