Research direction

The issue sketches a new aerodrome list with selectable columns (ICAO, QNH, TRL, wind, ATIS letter, runway) and an optional highlight for airports where an aircraft connects, but names no files, components or tests. Its open questions (wind source, runway source, the highlight behaviour) need a maintainer decision before any code. Done would mean an agreed column set and a stated data source for each column.

Description

enhancement

Selecting aerodromes similar to in METAR/TAF window.

Selectable columns, showing:

  • ICAO
  • QNH
  • TRL
  • Wind (METAR / Metsensor?)
  • ATIS letter
  • RWY
    • #101
    • from ATIS
    • From ES Plugin

Maybe also having the option of an airport appear in the list (in special colour to indicate) when an aircraft connects at that airport, for helping with top-down coverage.
