Research direction

Start by reading the repository's package manifest conventions and validation instructions; the issue does not name specific files or tests. Use the supplied download URL, version, publisher, and silent-install argument to prepare the Zebra Setup Utilities manifest. Done means the manifest passes repository validation; the uninstall command's silent behavior is noted as a limitation.

How can we help?

I would like someone else to build the manifest.

Package Name: Zebra Setup Utilities
Description: Use this software to configure your printer after Printer Driver installation.
Package Version: 1.1.9.1327
Installer Url: https://www.zebra.com/content/dam/support-dam/en/driver/unrestricted/0002/zsu-1191327.zip

Additional notes:

  • To perform a silent installation of this application, use the "/s" argument.
  • The installer is a standalone .EXE installer (of type "InstallAware") inside of a .ZIP file.
  • The uninstall command provided by the installer (written to the "UninstallString" Registry value) does not contain the "/s" argument. This results in an uninstallation that is not silent by default. To make it silent, we can simply add "/s" to the arguments, but it seems that a generated UUID is part of the file path, so this may not be possible to do automatically, at least not with WinGet (and it may actually be beyond the scope of WinGet), but I am providing this information in case it is useful.
