Research direction

Start by reproducing the reported query-completion behavior with a table whose column names contain dots, then inspect the completion path that handles input after a dot. Done means completion items appear and the suggestion popover remains available for dotted column names.

Description

Hi! The screenshot below illustrates an issue I've noticed. In the example table the columns have dots in their names. I notice that once I get to the . the suggestion popover goes away. This seems to be a bug because completion items used to be provided and makes it challenging these days to write queries.
