Research direction

Start by inspecting the machine module directory and the import machine entry point, then verify how its available classes are exposed. The issue is complete when machine exposes a Timer class and its behavior can be tested, but the requested Timer scope is not specified.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

I tried importing timer from machine to test it and see how it works, but the module is not a part of the machine directory.
import machine print(dir(machine))
When I try that, timer is not one of the classes printed out.
