Description

hybrid-methods sources variance reduction

Describe the feature you'd like.

Source biasing is a variance reduction technique that allows for preferential sampling from a source. This can be done in any combination of phase space, and typically is done via a provided function or histogram describing the desired probabilities of a particle being born at a specific point in the source's phase space.

Additional context.

This is required for CADIS and other hybrid weight window generators.

How can this issue be closed?

This issue can be closed when histogram / function based biasing can be supplied into sources, as well as preferential sampling from sources based off of user supplied "weights".
