Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue in Pix 3.0.2 through Preferences > Shortcuts > Viewer, then inspect how the first four “show next file” and “show previous file” shortcuts are saved and restored. Done means remapped shortcuts persist after closing and relaunching Pix, while the existing shortcut behavior remains intact.

Bug description

First four shortcuts for "show next file" or "show previous file" are reset to default on the next program start, while other save their new values.

Steps to reproduce
  1. open pix preferences -> shortcuts -> viewer;
  2. remap any of the first four shortcuts of "show next file" or "show previous file" in the list (in my case it was "up"->"4" and "down"->"5" to free those keys for other shortcuts);
  3. close and open the program again - remapped shortcuts are back to default;
Expected behavior

Shortcut changes persist on the next program launch
