Research direction

Reproduce the issue with a JPG image and the rotate buttons at the top of the application. Trace the lossless rotation entry point and verify how EXIF and other metadata are handled; done means rotating preserves the image metadata instead of removing it.

Bug description

Rotating Images Losslessly Removes ALL EXIF / Meta Data From Image. This happens instantly the second the button is pressed at the top. This is extremely unwanted behavior and obviously quite a big problem.

Steps to reproduce

Take any jpg image file and rotate it with the top buttons. The EXIF / Meta Data is gone instantly.

Expected behavior

Lossless rotate without losing all the exif data from the image

Additional information

I really hope this can be fixed soon. It renders a superb piece of software absolutely obsolete for my use case.
