Research direction

Start by reading the LCOV_PERL_PATH definition in the Makefile and the Perl .pm files under support-scripts. Check how the interpreter path is selected and whether those files still use /usr/bin/env perl. Done means an installation using a custom LCOV_PERL_PATH reports the corresponding Perl include path; no test file is mentioned in the issue.

Description

I'm installing lcov-2.3.1 and have changed LCOV_PERL_PATH to my own path. But still lcov reported wrong INC path in Perl.
Then I checked .pm files under support-scripts directory and found that Perl interpreter path was still the default one /usr/bin/env perl
