Research direction

Start by reviewing the current website style and the issue's stated goal of improving clarity through minimal design. The issue does not name files, entry points, or tests, so the first step is to define and agree on a concrete design direction. Done would require an agreed style proposal with an identified implementation scope.

Description

Should we have a more proactively designed style for the website? What should that style be?

I personally think that the current style is OK but could be better. For me, whatever we do the design should be minimal to aid the clarity of the content.
