Research direction

This asks for a new trigger model that separates middle click, double middle click and middle click + drag, which today share one trigger across autoscroll, gesture and button actions. The payload names no files, so start by finding where button events are mapped to triggers and actions in the Swift sources and how the config expresses a trigger. The scope is undefined — the request is essentially "do what Mac Mouse Fix does" — so the first step is to agree a design with maintainers before writing code.

Is your feature request related to a problem?

"autoscroll, gesture ,button action " all of them uses the same trigger and these triggers cannot distinguish between middle click ,double middle click and middle click + drag so it leeads to people who have limited button or want to have more shortcuts for buttons incapable of using them.
I think this is a limiting factor that can be fixed without affecting a normal user just by showing what are my options for a connected mouse .

Describe the solution you'd like
