Research direction
Read the setup and teardown in gui/tests/provider-overview-account-label.test.tsx and inspect how they capture and restore global values. Add a second test in a shared process that checks the original property descriptors and whether window.event existed, then use it to verify exact restoration. Done when cleanup restores the original descriptors, deletes properties that were absent, and does not modify a pre-existing window object.

Summary
The Overview account-label component test in #8296 restores global values after each case, but does not restore their original property descriptors or the absence of a property. Its cleanup can install a window stub or add window.event to a previously existing window. A later test sharing the same process could observe altered globals. Preserve and restore the exact original descriptors, deleting properties that were originally absent, without modifying a pre-existing window object.
This is a static review finding, not a reproduced cross-file failure. The GUI CI currently runs files with --isolate, so it is not a #8296 merge blocker.
Reproduction
- Inspect
gui/tests/provider-overview-account-label.test.tsxsetup and teardown in #8296. - Run it in a shared process with a second test that asserts the original global property descriptors and whether
window.eventexisted. - Confirm whether the second test observes a difference, then use that test to verify exact restoration.
