The Db2 LUW row in seven translated READMEs says the driver misreads non-ASCII text, BIGINT past 2^53, BOOLEAN, XML and LOBs, so inline editing and import are off. Those driver bugs are fixed and inline editing and import are on. README.md lists inline editing and import as features and names only one remaining problem: a value bound to a large CLOB, DBCLOB or BLOB column is not written.

The English row, README.md:338:

RUNSTATS and REORG per table, inline editing and import into existing tables. TLS is required unless you opt out, because without it the password crosses the network in cleartext. A value bound to a large CLOB, DBCLOB or BLOB column is not written and no error says so, so the table preview leaves those columns out and offers no edit of them; Create Table, EXPLAIN, transactions and cancel are off.

Expected

Each translated Db2 row says what the English row says: inline editing and import into existing tables are features; a value bound to a large CLOB, DBCLOB or BLOB column is not written and no error says so, so the preview leaves those columns out; Create Table, EXPLAIN and cancel are off. No row mentions non-ASCII text, BIGINT past 2^53, BOOLEAN or XML as misread.

Note that the English row (and README_es.md:150, which copies it) still lists transactions as off. Transactions are on: capabilities.ts:79 above, and docs/providers/db2.md:227:

So drop "transactions" from the list of things that are off, in the English and Spanish rows too.

How to fix

  1. Read README.md:338 and README_es.md:150. The Spanish row is already up to date apart from "transacciones" and shows how the English row reads in translation.
  2. In each of the seven files, add inline editing and import into existing tables to the feature list, and replace the "driver misreads ..." sentence with a translation of the CLOB, DBCLOB, BLOB sentence.
  3. In all nine rows (English, Spanish and the seven), list only Create Table, EXPLAIN and cancel as off.
  4. Keep the link to docs/providers/db2.md at the end of each row.
