Research direction

The payload names no files or entry points, so the first step is reproducing the problem: a Mac with Apple Silicon, a Bluetooth headset, and microphone access enabled, then holding the hotkey while audio plays. Comparing against SpeakType 1.x.x would help isolate the change in 2.0.0. Done means identifying which audio input or session setting causes the compression and either fixing it or documenting the cause with a maintainer's agreement on the fix.
