This is an open-ended performance investigation rather than a scoped change: the payload names no file, function or test, only the symptom that exporting a video is slow and the suggestion to use the GPU. Start by finding the export pipeline in this TypeScript/Electron app and measuring where time actually goes before proposing GPU rendering, since the encoder may be a separate process or library. Expect to profile the existing export path first and bring numbers back to the maintainer, because without a target or baseline there is no clear definition of done.
