Read the linked remote-cache issues (vite-plus-remote-cache-cloudflare#42 and #16) and the vite-task remote cache code they refer to, to learn how entries are keyed and uploaded. Done would mean an agreed design for per-branch cache scoping, which needs maintainer input before any code change.

Goal
Make remote cache entries reusable across main and pull requests, safely. A pull request reuses main's entries, even when it's behind main, and its own entries from earlier runs. Nothing a pull request stores reaches main.
Today the remote cache keeps one entry per task, so a run misses unless its input state is the one stored last (voidzero-dev/vite-plus-remote-cache-cloudflare#42). Pull requests can't upload safely either, because their entries would land with the ones main restores (CREEP).
