Start by finding the Rust test named test_saved_state_valid_formats in the stty test suite and check where it calls out to a system binary instead of the project's own implementation. Run that test locally and in CI to compare the output, then look at the linked CI comment for the differing result. Done when the test no longer depends on GNU coreutils and gives the same result on both machines.
