Check first: when a site is published, two images may end up with the same file name, so one overwrites the other or goes missing.
Recheck seedPresetMedia scope-first conversion, nested source/manifest paths, flat export output and original-versus-rendition collisions (photo.jpg vs photo-large.jpg). A pure selection helper must preserve used-only selection, rendition fallback and referenced-file reconciliation.
Done when: No silent overwrite or missing linked media in reproduced cases; adapter boundaries and copy fallbacks remain correct.
