Hi! The “Handle step-ups” section documents three_d_secure with resolution: "auto_resume", where the agent polls spend-request retrieve and the request resumes once the cardholder completes the challenge.
Could you clarify:

Does this mechanism handle 3DS authentication of the underlying funding card, merchant-initiated 3DS on the issued virtual Visa, or both?

Do issued virtual cards support merchant-initiated 3DS2, including both frictionless authentication and interactive challenge flows?

If a merchant requests a challenge on the issued virtual card:
- Where does the cardholder complete it: the merchant’s checkout, the Link app, or a separate authentication URL?
- Will retrieving the spend request return
status: "requires_action"with anaction_url? - What should the agent do to let the cardholder complete authentication and then continue checkout?

If merchant-initiated 3DS challenge flows are not currently supported for issued virtual cards, is support planned or being considered?
We want to ensure our integration correctly handles authentication after entering the issued virtual card at a merchant’s checkout.
