In the Control Panel navigation customization page, after you reset navigation customizations, your last customized items are still shown on the page, only the sidebar navigation items are reset. The page shows the default navigation items after you reload or navigate away and return back to the page.

Expected behaviour: After reset, the default nav items shown in the side panel match what is rendered in the navigation page.
Actual behaviour: Navigation page shows your last customized items, while the sidebar shows the default navigation items.

How to reproduce
  1. Go to Settings → Preferences → CP Nav.
  2. Rename a section, e.g. “Content” → “Content 123”.
  3. Reorder an item within a section, e.g. move “Globals” to the top of the Content section.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Open the More actions (⋯) menu next to “Add” and click Reset Nav Customizations.

Compare the navigation items list on the page with the sidebar items list.
