Review the previous 1.0 release issue #475 to understand the release process, including release candidates and downstream compatibility checks. Coordinate with maintainers @amas0 and @mitzimorris to plan tasks and timelines for the 2.0 release.

説明
For planning purposes: I will be AFK until 10/5, but at that point we can start to think about a 2.0 release.
Similar to 1.0, I think it makes sense to do a release candidate or two before publishing on the full release track on pypi, which will make it easier for downstream users like prophet to check their compatibility and hopefully spot any major issues.
