調査の方向性
The regression is in the new-file template chooser, which should show class, interface and enum options for a new .java file. Reproduce it with the java.templates.typeComment setting non-empty, then compare against the setting removed and against 1.55 to find where the chooser stops appearing. The payload names no source files, so locate the template handling in the extension's TypeScript sources first. Done means the chooser appears with the setting set and the change is covered by a test.

After updating to 1.56.0, the Java template chooser no longer appears when creating a new Java file.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

"java.templates.typeComment": ["/// ", "///", "/// @author ${user}"],or any other non-empty array to your workspace settings. -
Create a new file
Foo.javavia the explorer -
The usual chooser for
class Foo, interface Foo, enum Fooshould appear but does not.

Workaround
Remove the java.templates.typeComment setting.
