The failure is an AuthorizationFailureException with a 403 from private channel subscription, and the reporter says the exception message is always empty. Start with the authorization path in the library source, where the 403 from the auth endpoint is turned into that exception, and check why the message is not populated. Done would mean the exception carries the server's reason, or a test shows the 403 case; the reporter's gist is needed to reproduce it.

What is the issue?
I cannot subscribe to private channel. Tried all the solutions online but still it isn't working
