Feature request

Please add support for the standard Vim normal-mode S command in the Codex CLI TUI prompt editor.

In Vim, S (substitute line) is equivalent to cc: it changes the current line and enters Insert mode.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Enable Vim mode in the Codex CLI TUI.
  2. Type some text in the prompt.
  3. Press Esc to enter Normal mode.
  4. Press uppercase S (Shift+S).

Expected behavior

The current input line's text is cleared and the prompt editor immediately enters Insert mode, ready for replacement text. This should match Vim's S / cc semantics.

Actual behavior

S does not perform this line-substitution action in the TUI editor.

Motivation

S is a standard, frequently used Vim editing command. Supporting it would make the CLI's Vim mode more consistent with Vim muscle memory. If the existing cc functionality is available internally, the implementation may be able to reuse it.
