Some variable naming conventions in the ss3_var_names.csv seem inconsistent, or could otherwise probably be updated for clarity. The below is non exhaustive, and/or there may be good reasons why the current names were chosen:

| BRatio | biomass_ratio | spawning_biomass_ratio | From checking against the SS3 manual, this quantity always reflects spawning biomass. |
| annF_Btgt | annual_F_biomass_target | annual_fishing_mortality_biomass_target | Would be nice for this quantity to be returned alongside other "fishing_mortality" labels, particularly for reference lines. Also, the current alt_label doesn't match naming conventions elsewhere. |
| annF_SPR | annual_F_spawning_potential_ratio | annual_fishing_mortality_spawning_potential_ratio | Same as above |

All of these were encountered when working on a draft Kobe plot figure.
