[BUG] premature EOF in certain combinations

Start by comparing the working 8.1.2-cli-ls75/ls76 and broken 9.0-cli-ls77 images, including their FFmpeg versions and Dockerfile changes. Run the provided Podman command with the listed stream combinations and inspect when output stops. Done means the 9.0 image transcodes the full input while copying PGS subtitles with trueHD audio selected.

Current Behavior

I'm trying to transcode audio while copying subtitles and I get EOF after the intro ends, skipping the entire rest of the video. Up until 8.1.2 this worked, but the very next release, 9.0, doesn't.

Input file has

• trueHD audio
• ac3 audio
• pgsub subtitles

Selecting just ac3 and copying subtitles works, but as soon as I use trueHD in the inputs the bug appears. Someone else seems to have a similar issue at https://code.ffmpeg.org/FFmpeg/FFmpeg/issues/24336

I have tried and failed to reproduce it with system packages. I can run ffmpeg 9 there and everything works.
I have also tried basing off commit d2c4df5 and just updating the ffmpeg version in the dockerfile, which also didn't work though I may have done something wrong.

Expected Behavior

New versions should handle it as well.

Steps To Reproduce

Transcode a video file with truehd/DTS-HD MA audio and pgsub subtitles. My test command was
