Reproduce the bug by pressing Alt + F8 and then an arrow key in any window, and compare it with Alt + F7, which the issue says already moves in larger steps. The payload does not name the source file, so start by searching the window manager's keyboard resize code for the step size it uses, and compare it with the move path. Done means Alt + F8 resizes in the same increments as Alt + F7 and Ctrl still gives fine 1px steps.

Alt + F8 moves the cursor in 1px increments, as if ctrl is being held down
Steps to reproduce
- Open any window, ex. xed
- Press Alt + F8
- Pres any direction (arrow) key, ex. right
- Observe that the increments are in 1px
In comparison, Alt + F7, moving a window, works as expected. It moves in chunks of increments, and when holding down ctrl, it moves in 1px.
Expected behavior
For Alt + F8 to resize in the same increments and ctrl use like Alt + F7.
Currently, Alt + F8 is simply too slow to resize in any direction. Shift works as expected, but that is only a small help.
