調査の方向性

まず HTTP::Request::Common::POST を見つけ、Content 引数がどのように処理されているかを調べます。既存の動作を確認し、大きな POST ボディに対してスカラー参照をどのように受け入れるべきかを判断します。POST が Content_Type を保持したまま参照先のコンテンツを受け取れるようになれば完了です。

If posting a large piece of content, it would be good to pass it as a
reference to the content. Currently one can not do this:
$useragent->post(
    $uri, Content => \ $blob_of_xml, Content_Type => 'text/xml'
);

The only way I can see is to manually construct an HTTP::Request object.
