Value Prop
You can now save private views on any repository you can read — no triage access required. Private views are visible only to you, so you can keep personal filters separate from the shared views your whole team sees. Shared and private views appear together in the sidebar, making it easy to switch between your own workflow and the team's common view.
Expected Outcome
Saved views previously required triage access, which left most contributors — readers and collaborators — unable to save filters at all. Private views open this capability to everyone, mirroring the personal filter model already available on the global issues and pull requests pages, and give triage-level users a way to maintain working views without affecting their team's shared set.
