  1. Install microsoft-docs@awesome-copilot in GitHub Copilot CLI.
  2. Copilot reports an update is available.
  3. Apply the update. The installed plugin is still 0.3.1, and the update notice returns.
Expected

No update notice when the installed version matches the source repo.

Suggested fix

Change the marketplace entry to 0.3.1. To prevent recurrence, add a CI check that fails when a marketplace entry's version differs from the version in the plugin.json it points to.
