説明
- Upgrade instructions
- Postgres upgrade instructions
- full backup, ideally full-machine snapshot, or can use endpoint to get db dump
- for external db: follow service instructions, pay attention to postgres release notes, make sure to reindex
- reindexing will take a long time, especially if your harddrive is slow and/or you have a lot of data ( >50GB database)
- for internal db: interrupting the process would likely lead to data corruption and needing to restore from backup. Make sure you're not going to run out of space (not much additional needed)
