Flatpak VSCode is a crucial and highly popular software package, with a significant number of users relying on it. Currently, there appears to be a high demand for maintenance, as evidenced by the large number of open issues and pull requests in this repository.

To address this, I suggest considering the recruitment of additional maintainers. Issuing a public call for community members who are interested and capable of helping maintain the Flatpak VSCode package could help improve response times, issue triage, and overall project health.
