まず code-server 4.114.0 でブラウザーのアクティベーション失敗を再現し、lib/vscode/extensions/git/dist/main.js にある vscode.git 拡張機能を、ログに示されている拡張機能ホストのパスと併せて調査します。このビルドで @vscode/fs-copyfile を解決できない理由を確認します。vscode.git 拡張機能が正常にアクティベートされ、ブラウザーで Git の可視化が機能すれば完了です。
