Failed to install with npm on ubuntu.

docs/npm.md とログに記載された postinstall.sh エントリーポイントから始めます。Node 20.18.1 と npm 10.8.2 を使用する Ubuntu 22.04 で npm install --loglevel verbose --global code-server を再現し、その後、postinstall ステップがコード 1 で終了する理由を特定します。ドキュメントに記載された npm のインストールが正常に完了すれば完了です。

when run npm config set python python3, it outputs npm error python is not a valid npm option.
