Summary
Mem0 (mem0ai on npm) is an official memory-layer SDK for AI agents — it persists and retrieves conversational/user memories that agents read and write during execution (analogous to a retrieval step in a RAG or agent loop). Its Node/TypeScript SDK exposes both a self-hosted Memory class (OSS mode) and a hosted MemoryClient (Platform mode), each with add()/search() execution methods, none of which are instrumented in this repository.
What's missing
Memory.add(...)/Memory.search(...)(OSS mode,import { Memory } from "mem0ai/oss") — writes and retrieves memories from a self-hosted vector store + embedder + LLM pipeline.MemoryClient.add(...)/MemoryClient.search(...)(Platform mode, hosted API atapi.mem0.ai) — the equivalent hosted execution surface, plus memory history tracking.
