Build Failure

まず、クローンした aws-java-sample プロジェクトで mvn clean compile exec:java を実行し、source と target のバージョンを決定している Maven コンパイラー設定を調査します。サンプルがコンパイルされ、報告された Java ビルド失敗なしにコマンドが完了すれば完了です。

I followed these instructions from the Getting Started with the JAVA SDK https://aws.amazon.com/developers/getting-started/java/:

Download the Sample Project
git clone https://github.com/awslabs/aws-java-sample.git

From the aws-java-sample directory, run:
mvn clean compile exec:java

I however get the following build error:
