Start with the MMIO helper and the packet struct it wraps, then find where regz generates register definitions, since the issue asks for both to change. The example shows per-field .read_only and .write_only options that should produce compile-time errors on the wrong access. Done means writes to a read-only field fail to compile, reads from a write-only field fail likewise, and the generated code carries the same annotations.

Update MMIO and regz to handle and generate code like:
