The duplicated profile logic is said to sit in profile-pane and in solid-panes, around the profile-heading component. Start by comparing those two code paths to find what is actually repeated, then decide where a shared module should live. The issue does not define the target design, so agree on a proposal with maintainers before editing. Done means one implementation that both panes use, with their existing behaviour unchanged.
