Summary of the new feature / enhancement
As the number of resources have been growing (thanks to AI), we should consider splitting out OS management resources into separate packages
Proposed technical implementation details (optional)
- The base DSC package should be small
- All other resources should be published to an ACR instance once we have ORAS support
Need to start thinking about an extension model to find and install resources from OCI (which we need anyways). The Microsoft Artifact Registry can be a default installed trusted registry.
