Problem
Almost every button in Hypha needs JavaScript. makeButton() makes an <input type="button" onclick="hypha(…)">, and makeLink() makes an <a href="javascript:…">. Without JavaScript (switched off, blocked, failed to load, a crawler, some assistive tools) nothing happens, also for buttons that only open another page:
- the settings: Systeem tools, Projectinstellingen, Markup, Theme, Stijlen, Site elementen, Menu, and Annuleren on every settings form;
- the index and settings icons in the command bar;
- edit, translate, cancel and save of the page types.
The status bar of the browser shows javascript:newPage(); and the like instead of an address.
Expected
- A button that only opens a page is a link with a real address.
- A button that sends a command (save, approve, …) posts its form, with the CSRF token, also without JavaScript.
- With JavaScript everything works as before.
Buttons that ask for a confirmation first (delete) and the popups (new page) can stay JavaScript in a first step: without a confirmation, a delete is riskier than a button that does nothing.
