The bug is a race: GET /channels/{channelId}/statistics for channel A can return counters for an unrelated channel B while B is being deployed or undeployed. Start from the REST handler for that statistics endpoint and how channel identity is bound to the counters during deploy/undeploy. Reproduce with two threads as in the issue. Done when GET for A always returns A’s statistics and never B’s mid-deploy or mid-undeploy.

Repro:
- In one thread, loop: deploy channel B, send a message through it, undeploy channel B.
- In another thread, loop:
GET /channels/{A}/statistics
Expected:
GET /channels/{A}/statisticsalways succeeds and gives the statistics for channel A
Actual:
- While B is mid-deploy or mid-undeploy, the response describes channel B.
