Issue:
Is it desirable/needed to have a way to have a port on the output always powered in order to allow for asynchronous interrupts for wake events
If so, what is the best way to implement this?
Potential Solution (Testing still required):
If it is desired to have an always on option, the simplest solution would be to have an SPDT jumper on the bottom side of the board which would allow for U29 to have a selectable input for bus voltage, between VBUS_PRIME and 3V3_CORE.
Two additional requirments of this would be to switch the input voltage source (low voltage side) to 3V3_CORE instead of 3V3_CORE_ISO, this way the device could stay powered all the time. Then the chip would need to be swapped for the TXB0104 instead of the TXS0104, since the B series supports partial power down (but NOT I2C, however U29 does not transmit I2C anyway). Partial power down support would mean that the output would be made high impedance when the output power was disabled (if still using the switched output power)
