Steps to reproduce
Open an app that is set for tracking, turn on tracking, take a drive. During the drive put the app in the background. Later, open the app again to check recording
Actual results
From the time the app goes into the background till it is reopened there is no background recording of the gps log - a single straight line between the points
Expected results
Logging should continue on the correct alignment when app in the background.
