The testing workspace's lint script is pnpm gen:routes && tsc && eslint --fix ., and the .
covers the whole workspace.
When a local Playwright run records a trace, its HTML report writes the trace viewer to
testing/.playwright/report/trace/ (index.*.js, sw.bundle.js, assets/codeMirrorModule-*.js,
...). .playwright/ is git-ignored, but ESLint's flat config does not read .gitignore. The next
pnpm lint therefore lints those minified bundles and fails, with 5,046 errors in one run (no-undef
on define and CodeMirror, no-sequences, no-var, ...).
Deleting testing/.playwright/report works around it. The fix is to add testing/.playwright/** to
the global ignores in the root eslint.config.js.
