Being able to build for multiple architectures at once will reduce friction when a project is to be compiled for different systems. A simple mechanism would be to have a configuration file that specifies compilers for target architectures. It would be nice to have built in integration with the epics build system acquiring the configuration from a projects CONFIG_SITE.
