The payload names no files, tests or entry points, so start by locating the sidebar navigation code in the UniGetUI repository. The issue does not settle the design: it only suggests a Firefox-style customize toolbar, with drag and drop or right-click to add and remove buttons. Confirm with maintainers which behaviour they want, and whether the catalog switch should be removed, before writing code. Done would mean the agreed behaviour is implemented and persisted across restarts.

Describe the improvement
Now that there are more buttons in the sidebar, maybe a firefox-like "customize toolbar" feature or something that allows you to add / drop any button you like directly would be a nice addition.
Describe how this improvement could help users
That eliminates the need for a separate "enable software catalog" switch or the equivalent if any additional buttons were to be added in the future. It also makes the workflow way more intuitive.
