Start by reproducing the loss: build a MetaSwapModel, call its dump() method, reload it with from_file(), then inspect the reloaded PrecipitationMapping and the prec_mapping.nc file it wrote, which the report says is empty. Compare how the meteo reference is written and read back in the serialization path. Done means the reloaded PrecipitationMapping has its meteo attribute and the dump-and-reload round trip works without an AttributeError.

When dumping and reloading a MetaSwapModel, the resulting PrecipitationMapping object has no meteo attribute:
AttributeError: 'PrecipitationMapping' object has no attribute 'meteo'
This occurs with MetaSwapModel.dump() followed by MetaSwapModel.from_file(). The original model works correctly before dumping.
The prec_mapping.nc file is empty, so the meteorological grid reference appears not to be preserved during serialization. The reloaded model should restore the meteo attribut
