Direzione di ricerca
Start with the repository's GitHub pull-request and fork contribution settings, then inspect the six branches listed in the issue in their stated dependency order. Confirm whether regular fork pull requests can be opened against main; done means that workflow works or the supported alternative is documented for contributors.
Scritto dal modello di indicizzazione a partire dal testo della issue.
Descrizione
Request
Could you enable pull requests from forks (or point contributors to the supported alternative)? I pushed a six-commit review stack to DavidSouther/diffx, but GitHub rejected every attempt to open a pull request against this repository:
GraphQL: DavidSouther does not have the correct permissions to execute `CreatePullRequest` (createPullRequest)
I can create issues here, so this appears to be specific to pull-request creation from the fork. (And obviously I don't have permissions to push branches here.)
PR Stack:
fix/mnemonic-prefix— forces standarda/andb/Git diff prefixes; fixes #43.scroll-anchor-hardening— mitigates virtualized diff scroll jumps; relates to #24.multiline-gutter-select— adds range comments from a gutter drag; fixes #33.comment-persistence— opt-in durable comments, import, editing, and review-status UI; addresses #28, #29, and #34, and relates to #44.viewed-jump-next— moves to the next unviewed file after marking one Viewed; fixes #45.scoped-comments— adds file-level and diff-level comments; fixes #46.
The branches are linear and each includes the preceding commits. GitHub's native stack workflow cannot be used across a fork, so regular fork PRs targeting main would be sufficient; the PR bodies already document the dependency order and verification limits.
Thanks for considering this. If direct fork PRs are intentionally disabled, please let me know the preferred contribution channel.
