Direzione di ricerca

Start by locating the existing global key configuration and the startup handling for keybindings. Review how screen changes, text selection, and window closing currently consume shortcuts. Done should include a JSON-based customizable keybinding setup, duplicate highlighting, a reset-to-defaults option, and a way to view the current bindings, if those details are confirmed by the project design.

Descrizione

Feature description

Ctrl shift is used to block select text using the keyboard. Limiting this to changing screens breaks that quick edit feature on windows. This will also allow for custom setups that users are comfortable with for the other key bindings. For example using ctrl-tab instead of ctrl-shift will allowing block select of text. also ctrl-w and not alt-w for closing windows is more of a standard.

Implementation Suggestion

Use a json keybindings file for all keybindings, similar format to the global key config and read this on startup and save/update. Highlight duplicates if possible with a reset to defaults option in case of issues. A F1 OR F2 shortcut to the current keybindings list would be helpful as well. Thanks
